"This beautiful brick Federal style home was built by Samuel McIntire in 1804 and is currently owned by the Peabody Essex Museum. Plenty of information about the former owners is available through PEM Walks, a free audio tour available online. Haunted House tours will stop here, as 80 year old Joseph White was murdered on the property in 1830."
"Do you see a ghost in the second floor left windows? I'm not sure. I was told it was one of Salem's most haunted houses."
"An amazing house. Not too much information of the owners of the house but the architect was rather famous, born in Salem, MA (Samuel McIntire). This house is in amazing shape given it's age but it is built from brick and has a granite foundation. Furnished as it would have been when built, it was completely reworked in the 1980s. Carpets look new. If you like looking at old homes, this one is a great one. Owned by PEM, look for a tour through the museum."
"Really beautiful historic home that supposedly inspired the board game Clue. You can visit inside via the Peabody Essex Musem but several local ghost tours will talk about it as well."
"A beautiful historic home that is a museum you can get tours through the Peabody Essex Museum."
