"cool park , my kid loves it. Add be nes so parents can sit and watch kids play"
"Fantastic little park in oaklandon. They have a picnic area and play ground. Part of the play ground is for younger kids and part is for older kids. Decent sized field too to kick a ball around. The train comes by every so often and is very loud but all the kids I've been with love seeing it so close. There's a fence to keep you away but you could literally throw a rock at the passing train."
"It's not well maintained. The weeds & grass were really high. The metal picnic tables were pushed to a corner and dirty. The fence is rotting and falling apart. The picnic benches in the front were dirty. It smelled like rotting fish. There was a piece of food on the ground with maggots on it. They playground equipment looked great & they do have a bathroom. So, good to play but you don't want to pack a picnic."
"The wooden playground that used to be here was far more awesome. There are a couple play sets, one of which is designated for up to 5 years. There are benches and a few picnic tables close to the playground, and a couple wooden tables under a pavilion further out. There's a decent sized open space for kicking or tossing a ball, a grill, restrooms, and a water fountain. No changing table in the restrooms. You can, however, occasionally see the train go by, which the kids really enjoy."
