"Marott Woods is a lovely Nature Preserve! I’d love to go more with my pup but there are too many off leash dogs. From the Marott Woods Nature Preserve website… “Although Marott Woods has come to be commonly referred to as a park, it has been a nature preserve since its inception. Protecting the habitat takes precedent over our personal whims. Because of this, activities like off-path hiking, biking, fires, and off-leash animals are all illegal under state law.”"

"Beware of off leash dogs!! This is a great city park but many seem to think that leash laws don’t apply in Marott park. If you have a reactive dog, avoid it!! And owners/handlers, please be smarter and leash your dog! Trails are well maintained and there is easy river access."
