"Nice little hardware store. I was working at a remote location and needed a part. I chose a small hardware store over a big box store thinking the folks at the small store would have more expertise in what I needed. The young lady minding the store was friendly. She wasn't too knowledgeable about what I needed. They didn't have the piece I needed but I found something to use as a work around."
"Corner Hardware carries a wide selection of home improvement materials, tools and other items. Its nice to have such a well stocked store to run to in a small town for something quick. If you are looking for something unique, I recommend calling ahead - they seem to know their inventory well."
"Well. The girl at the front didn't know what a flat bar was. Another fella didn't know what end-nipper pliers were. They are over priced and I have a feeling that I would rather trek up to Menards than buy from them. However... As a local establishment, they are probably (as of 2017) one of the better businesses in town."
"I love having a hardware store in town! Brookston Hardware and Supply is a new in town, owned and operated by local people. We really needed a hardware and they are doing a super job of it. I build and repair a lot of stuff in my various adventures and it is so nice to have a well-run, local hardware. They carry a full line, including: plumbing, heating & cooling, paint, electrical, cleaning products, nuts and bolts and fasteners, tools, and so on. Just this week I was pleasantly surprised to see that they carry flowers and vegetable seedlings! If they don't have what you need, they will get it in for you. Check it out -- these guys are really doing it right."
"placed order online, got charged and a order confirmation. seemed simple enough. Waited two weeks never saw item or even heard from company. Called them up said the had an issue with shipping and charges, I paid what was told to pay.. Then told the website was new and the bugs had not been worked out and my order was cancelled. Now I have a safety issue not dealt with for 2 weeks plus however long it takes to get item from somewhere else. Thanks a lot. One would think they would at least be willing to work with me, after all it was a brookston issue not mine."
