"I am never ever going back in that dollar general again for as long as I live! I went in tonight and was trying to pay for a box of hostess cupcakes and cookie dough and I had enough money on my food stamps card to get them! Card declined so I had to get my dad inside the store and pay for them using cash. This is the worst dollar general I’ve ever been to in my entire life! Bad machine! Bad employees! Bad service!"
"What is going on in this store? Couldn't even walk into two aisles because stock carts were in the way, amongst other things like kiddy pools leaning against the racks. And this is not uncommon. This is the most poorly managed Dollar General, or any store for that matter, that I've ever been in. Sad"
"Every Dollar General should have employees like the ones that work here (except for 1 lady). Everyone is so nice and stay busy. You don’t see employees standing around doing nothing. You can still ask for help and they stop what they’re doing to help you! The manager at this store is #1 and should be training all Dollar General employees!! Jess is a hard worker and never in a bad mood! I have saw her work 7 days straight and still be such a jewel to everyone! I promise I’m not related to anyone here either!! I shop here a lot just because of the positive atmosphere and nice ppl"
"To be honest this is one of the newer Dollar Generals in our area. And I really don't care for it I like the one in Berne I like the one in Decatur but I do not care for the one in Geneva it's too small everything's too tightly packed in there I'm a big guy I don't like have to go down aisle sideways"
"Moved from a two-star to a three quickly, possibly higher if they stay on this note. This day the employee/cashier was pleasant and helpful - that's a joy! Previously was sideswiped with aggravations about running the store, stocking, things looking like... !@#? because of this or that, across aisles from one employee to another ~ while customers were present! What !? Why !? awkward and uncomfortable. No one wants to hear that. Here's to the new note!!"
