"Brought my car in, thinking the transmission was acting up. They didn’t find anything wrong with it through inspection and drove it repeatedly to try to get it to present issues. At my request, the mechanic took time at pick-up to ride along for a test-drive. Trey, GM, gave me a credit half off the diagnostic fee, as they ended up not doing any work on it. Happy with the service provided, especially as they could’ve told me I needed a new transmission and I would’ve believed them."

"We were traveling from AZ to MI when our truck started a horrible squealing. We took our truck to Edwards. They diagnosed it as needing gaskets for the turbo. They changed 4 gaskets and charged us $1300! By the time we got to MI it had started squealing again. We called them and Rich was extremely short with us. Said they fixed it properly and basically said it wasn't their problem! The truck didn't squeal unless pulling uphill so we couldn't figure it out. Thought maybe it was a belt. After leaving MI we headed east toward ME. Got to Keene NH and it started smoking! We found a diesel shop with a certified Ford diesel mechanic who pushed us in and found that the bottom gaskets hadn't been replaced. And the exhaust was being pushed out the bottom since the gaskets were weak and in some places not there! Old, used bolts had been used on the repair and some were put in at angles or stripped & put back with some type of gasket adhesive and some weren't even tightened properly! Only fingered tightened! Edwards should have found and repaired this properly! Guess the mechanic at Edwards figured we were out of towners and couldn't bring it back! If he would of said he didn't want to tackle this big of a job, I would have gone somewhere else. Now it'll cost us another $1500! Attached are photos of the gaskets from the original Edwards repair: what was left of one of the gaskets he replaced (and he put on sealer that never should have been applied because then they don't "seat" right), and the bottom gaskets that should have been replaced. STAY AWAY FROM EDWARDS! We threw out $1300! Look at photos in the photo section! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PS - Still waiting to hear from Edward's after emailing my contact information as they requested!"
