"When I moved in the house was filthy. Animal pee all over the carpets, disgusting refrigerator, window screens fallen off and just laying on the ground, the walls were painted all sorts of different colors, my roommate found a used pregnancy test under her sink on move in day. This company didn’t clean an inch. The manager is very rude and it’s impossible to get in touch with this company. You have to text them if you call or email they will never answer. I had to sign about 5 different leases because they couldn’t send the right one and they acted like it was my fault. There is also constantly trash every where outside and in the gutters. Stay away from this place it’s not even worth the price. Utilities are also way too much I think they’re somehow upping the price."

"This is a TERRIBLE place to live, I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The place was definitely rushed when building. The cottages have no insulation in the attics and I believe the walls. The unit either stay super HOT or Cold and management doesn’t care. Ashley is the manager and she is extremely RUDE and careless when it comes to keeping the tenants issues resolved and customer service. The roofs leak and leave mold spores and the owners won’t fix ANYTHING! The water pipes leak and my UTILITY bills averaged $800-$1200/month not including internet because of how poorly constructed these units are! I asked management for a credit and they denied speaking to me and said they weren’t going to renew my lease which I was more than fine with! These are just a few issues to list but there are PLENTY more! DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!"

"It was very hard to get in touch with anyone at the leasing office to tour a unit. Ashley did not respond until i sent two follow up emails. After finally touring a unit she stopped responding to texts and emails altogether. If it was that hard to even tour a unit I cannot imagine having maintenance issues and needing to get in touch with someone. With a lack of amenities and no in-house staffing i wouldn’t recommend JC to anyone really."

"We had leaks all year long here. We were also supposed to have security gates. They installed a gate halfway through my lease, but the gate has yet to close and no one was ever given a code to it (so, it's basically just for decoration). One night, all of the smoke alarms in the house went off because water was leaking through our electrical sockets. There was no management to get in contact with, so we had to call the fire department and evacuate in the middle of the night. Management did not care that this happened to us and refused to offer any kind of discount off of our rent that month. No pool. No clubhouse. Absent management... and you would pay the same at the Social, get all of those things, a fully furnished house and more... and a cuter house. These houses were supposed to look like Seaside Cottages...lol no. I believe the pictures of the plans also had balconies and back porches which don't exist. Also, I'll add that this was advertised as student living, but it seems that they also started AirBNB-ing the houses out to random people, some were even families with kids."

"I have lived here since I moved here in August! It’s okay but it was really rushed and I have just noticed little specs of what they could have done to make the place better! The cabinets have no handles, no ceiling fan downstairs, it stays either super hot or cold so I’m always having to change the thermostat, the houses were supposed to have back doors, but instead there’s a weird nook in the corner! It only comes furnished with washer and dryer and Tv! You have no clubhouse, no pool, no onsite management, the company who owns it lives in Georgia. And to have no clubhouse, pool, or management on site we really are paying way too much!"
