"This is where old world Mobile meets the new. The home we stayed in was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The old world charm of this place is unmatched. The rooms are large, the beds are so comfortable I actually asked what mattress company so I could buy one for my own home. If you love history and are staying in Mobile, this is the place to stay. If we are ever in Mobile again We will be renting again.I personally loved everything about our stay. Thank you to the staff of this wonderful place for making us so comfortable and welcome."

"My family and I traveled to Mobile for court, and we stayed at the Gonzalez cottage. The cottage was built in 1863 and had so much of its original charm as well as modern amenities. The spacious cottage was more than enough room for all 5 of us, and offered unparalleled comfort. The beds are Nectar mattresses with beautiful white linen bedding, we all slept incredibly well during our two night stay. The cottage was within walking distance to the courthouse and other destinations in the downtown Mobile area. To be quite honest, the cottage felt like a beautiful luxury home away from home. There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that these are some of the finest accommodations Mobile, AL has to offer. My family and I have decided should we ever return to Mobile, we will definitely be staying at Fort Conde Village again."

"Rooms are beautiful. Area feels safe. Employees are helpful and friendly. Suggest bringing your own pillow if you're picky and bath soap. Pillows are terrible, and soap/lotion doesn't smell the greatest. But overall, a definite 5 star."
