Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Mobile

"This hotel is in a great location however it lacks customer service from the front desk staff. I’ve visited this location twice and this time you can see that the establishment needs some updates including the staff. I was never greeted. Nor acknowledged I had to ask about information that should be volunteered in regards to the pool and breakfast and even welcome points or gifts. The bathroom had mold on the walls and shower and the hall carpets need to be replaced. The breakfast bar was nicely stocked but had expired muffins on it which I got sick from. The customer service in regards to molded food wasn’t handled properly in my opinion. I definitely will not be back and do not recommend to anyone else. There are a lot of hotels in this area go to one of those."

"There was a bug in my room. the breakfast was lackluster and cold I ate around 9am for reference but the food should be kept warm throughout the breakfast hours. The bathtub was not slanted right so water didn't drain right. On a lesser note the TV was all and didn't have very many channels but that wasn't a huge problem. The area around the hotel is also not very good not much to do and the only restaurant in a very accessible place is a waffle house."

"This hotel is extremely outdated. However the photos online did not depict this. We were very dissatisfied. The elevator carpet is nasty. I can go on but it's too much. Marriott should be ashamed. We spent over 300.00 and expected better quality rooms."

"As a former Fairfield employee and someone who has stayed at several Marriott hotels, this is not the same quality that you would expect from most Fairfields. It seems like this hotel was previously a Choice Hotel and they just slapped the Fairfield banner on it. Nice location, close to the city though. Breakfast area was super small, and the options weren’t really making me want more. Check in was simple and quick. The rooms were decently clean, but overall the quality of this hotel was below standard."

"Staff was great. We weren’t bothered and we also didn’t bother them. Our room was clean and exactly what we expected and needed. The pool was open. The ice machine was broken. The breakfast options are generic but perfect for it being included in the stay and for a quick early bite to tie you over till lunch. They had a shortage of towels but we didn’t have to ask for any. I really enjoyed this location. It was close to some restaurants and the mall. It’s a weird way to get to the hotel but once you get the hang of it it’s easy but I got turned around a bit the first day deciphering the feeter road and the highway. It’s not the usual Marriott most are accustomed but i would choose to stay here again."
