"Gulf shore is defenitly a beautiful place to visit, however the way this condo is well under kept in unbelievable for the price, it looks like it has not been re furnished since 2010, and the ways to the condos smell so bad because of the trash shot being so under kept, not to mention every time you have to ride the elevator it seemed like it was going to break down and way under lit. Very sketchy. Would not be a safe specially at night"

"It is a small older place but very well maintained. Our unit was very accommodating with a comfortable bed, a full stocked kitchen. All you do is add food. On the beach with easy access. We will be returning!"

"Very bad rental property, not maintained and fitly dirty. Elevator does not function properly and gets stuck frequently. The condo we stayed out had not been cleaned. Bedding sheets were soiled with blood stains, and kitchen was not cleaned. We spent the first 3 hours when we arrived cleaning. The shower faucet was missing the front escutcheon and there was decades of mold and mildew encrusted. The tub did not drain, so you had to take a shower in ankle deep water. Patio door does not lock. Would not recommend! We put a bad review on "VRBO" website, but of course they only post favorable reviews. Very deceptive marketing and management practices! Not a good company to do business with."

"Older condo building gets 4 stars, but very nice apartment/rooms gets 5 stars. Was updated, very comfortable beds, washer/dryer was nice to have. Had beach view from balcony. We really liked the access to the beach, the pool was simple but clean and nice. Elevator was slow, but they had good carts to carry your stuff upstairs. Minutes from restaurants and shopping. Overall, a great experience for me and my family!"

"Overall, the experience was great. We booked a soccer weekend trip Sept 2022 at The Whaler (4B); customer service was helpful, esp when the original door code would not work. Condo was clean; sand on the floor but not more than what I’d expect from a condo on the beach. Some minor facial things could be updated (few paint spots, furniture with chipped paint), but nothing really to complain about. Comfortable rooms, well set up, everything worked as expected. Great view. Only one elevator but had no issues. Washer/dryer/iron/dishwasher/fridge/microwave all worked. Just know for the TVs you’ll need to log in to the different streaming sites (and remember to log out before leaving). Pool nice; beach accessibility easy. Would definitely book again."
