"Stayed in cabin 22 for four nights. It was a great secluded cabin where my two dogs could be crated in air conditioning when I was out and about. There was a grill and fire pit outside and picnic table on screened in porch. Had a bed and living room and kitchen. Minor complaints were the can opener did not work and no towel hanger by shower. The staff is working to remedy these. The cabin is minutes away from all my destinations on the Gulf Shores. I am grateful for military (Retiree) discount."
"Excellent location. Wonderful views and quiet. Breakfast at Woodside, included in stay, was outstanding! Roughly $50 a morning saved! Cabin was cozy and large. Easy access to state park beach and attractions, great wildlife, amazing customer service, wonderful for kids!! We will be back!"
"So nice! These cottages are super clean, modern and peaceful. It feels worlds away from the hustle & bustle of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. We stayed here and then drove less than 5 miles to water parks, amusement parks, restaurants, etc. Lisa who works the office was very helpful and showed us so much on the map. Highly recommend!"
"Not handicap friendly. Lots of steps to get inside. Was very clean. Modestly equipped kitchen. If you plan on cooking you should consider bringing additional cookware. The knives were dull but worked. Beds are comfortable, seating for 4 in the living area. Charcoal grill area and firepit below. Bicycles under the cottage for use. Monarch cottage is very close to the pier. Dining area is large and can comfortably seat six. Nice open concept."
"We had a wonderful stay at Maple cottage! It was clean, well decorated and spacious for 3 adult couples. Just a couple suggestions. I'm a senior citizen with bad knees. It would be safer if the outside steps had nonskid strips. The wood becomes slippery when wet and could be an added benefit to the handrails. In the bathroom, a nonskid mat for the bathtub or nonskid strips would make the tub less slippery. Also, a vertical bar to grasp while stepping out of the tub would be beneficial. Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY!"
