"Mallery and Loren were really nice! The helped us with all of our needs."
"I’ve been a tenant here for almost 4 years. They had switched management recently and they are the best. Ms. Tori has been the most kind and understanding property manager that I have ever experienced. She’s new, but already she’s making big changes. The property has people to come by that help people with their rent. I had never heard about that, even in the midst of the pandemic. The last property manager left some things undone on my account and Tori sorted them out. Don’t hesitate moving here. You will be in good hands."
"I’ve had to redraft this review to reflect current property management. The new property manager Latoria is one of the least professional people I’ve encountered for an office that sees multiple staff changes yearly she is by far the worst. Went in today to retrieve some documents and the property manager was rude to myself and the guest that accompanied me. Latoria needs a customer service training immediately. I’ve actually been living somewhere else since April but today was a reminder of why I could no longer be a tenant at the decaying building. Personalities of staff match the sad surroundings and lack of upkeep of the actual property. They do not keep adequate records and have experienced a recent sale of the property making things even more disorganized. Do yourself a favor and do not move here."
"Had no issues with the management while I was living there for over 2.5 years. But when I left the apartment, it was a totally different story. Here's what happened. I left the apartment almost 3.5 months ago, handed the keys and all, but haven't got back my deposit refund back till today. It's hard to get in touch with them via phone or email. Consider yourself lucky if they respond to you via email or pick up your call. It's super hard to get in touch with the manager. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting in touch with the manager, phone, or email. If they pick up your phone and ask for the manager, the manager has either just left for lunch or is in a call or will be back in an hour. smh. They never return your call, not call back. Forget it. One time I had to take half a day off just to go back to Mountainside to talk to them in person. When I left the apartment, I had cleaned the house thoroughly; from the bathtub to carpets (it was cleaner when I got it), kitchen, fridge, cabinets, patio, closets, EVERYTHING!!! It was good as new; spotless. They said they'll have to charge me $70 for carpet cleaning as it was not professionally cleaned. I said OK. They revised the final account statement, waited over a month but still didn't get the refund back. Couldn't get hold of them to find out what it's taking so long. So, I had to reach out to corporate about the refund since I couldn't get a hold of the manager or the front desk person. A new story again. They have again updated the "final" revised statement. They added an additional $75 for house cleaning services. This was beyond ridiculous. I have lived in so many other apartments in the last 10 years, nobody charged me a penny, even for the carpet cleaning. I leave the apartment very clean. Mountainside is different. Very poor. If you are leaving the apartment, I would think twice if you need to clean the basics. They will likely charge you $75 for cleaning and $70 for carpet cleaning, REGARDLESS!! This is so shady and unprofessional. You'll be lucky to get your refund back in 6 months after leaving the apartment. I am still waiting."
"I’ve been living here for 2 years and can not wait to move out at this point. The apartments got bought at the beginning of the year and since the new ownership has taken over things have gone extremely downhill. Our online portal was changed in June and just recently got fixed to where we can actually make online payments. The pool was closed the entire summer, the laundry facility is disgusting, and there’s barely enough parking for residents. They constantly turn the water off without even sending an email to residents to let them know. We had a leak in our apartment and called multiple times to have it fixed with no one ever coming to do it until finally we stopped by the office and the person at the desk found a note stating they LOST our apartment key and asked us to go to Lowe’s and make them a copy of our key and they’d take FIVE whole dollars off the rent. Granted, they did end up changing our locks and fixing the water damage, but that was after we had one of our parents call them and demand it. We also got a notice on our door for some overdue charge on our account and have tried 2 times to go by the office BEFORE 5 and the manager isn’t there and apparently no one else in the office can look at our accounts and see what we’re being charged for. Today the lady literally put her hand up at us to shush us and then had some smart remark. They just have zero respect for anyone who is younger. Definitely don’t recommend these apartments to any college students, unless you want to have your parents call for them to actually do anything."
