"I live in Vestavia Hills but I'm having to use my renters insurance. I have a family and a dog, school and work. We didn't want to stay in a single hotel room for a week so I looked in vrbo and airbnb but everything was super expensive or unavailable as quickly as I needed it. That's when I found the Sonesta in Homewood! It is a one bedroom micro apartment. It has a pull out full bed in the living room so it can sleep 4. My dog was able to stay here for a $90 fee (that was a bit ridiculous.... and the only thing I would have said was overpriced). They have breakfast from 6am until 8am or so which is perfect. We can grab a bite to eat that I didn't have to cook on the way to school, work and doggy daycare. This place was a lifesaver (for real bc we're all sick with mold toxicity from our $1300/ month apartment). Next time I need to stay in a hotel or apartment, I will be staying at a Sonesta, that's for sure!"
"We ended up here late one night on a road trip and they took great care of us. The room was spacious and clean. We were comfortable. Beware of the pet fee though. It is $90 after tax"
"Nice room for us and our pup. The 75 dollar pet fee is very high for just 1 night. Once tax and fees are added, it is close to a hundred bucks. But we would stay there again. Very clean, nice court yard, and a good grab n go breakfast."
"The hotel is nice overall. It had a smell though in the suite I was in and in the hallway. The staff was nice. The day of checkout, I found a tiny red bug in the bed moving. I told them when I left though and the young lady apologized about it. Don't know what the solution was though. Hope they clean the rooms better."
