"As executor of my mothers estate in Sheffield, Alabama, one of my first actions was to come up with values of some fine 18th century furniture, art and other items which she had inherited from her parents and grandparents from France. Obviously, I had absolutely no idea nor where to start. The wife of a best friend of mine suggested I contact Ken. The online sites I checked on, wanted me to measure, photograph and describe these pieces. I wanted someone with knowledge to come place their eyes on them. Although Ken was an hour away, he agreed to come. He made several trips, took pictures and did research, and valued them. Very time consuming for him and very fair on his compensation. Needless to say, I couldn't have managed this without Ken's help. He is very knowledgeable, professional and overall great guy .... he provided me with ideas and suggestion as how to best dispose of these items .... which gave me tremendous insight on how to get started. Also, if you haven't been in his fabulous store, you should do yourself a favor and go. It is magnificent to say the least. I will forever be indebted to him for agreeing to help me.
