"Way overpriced! I just saw a Walmart brand wax melt being sold for $12 when it is $7.50 brand new. The container was significantly damaged as well. Cross reference your purchases here carefully."
"I used to love shopping in here but most recently I stopped coming. The little short lady with the glasses was very rude to me and my friends when we came in. I had walked up to her to ask her a question and it was as if I was bothering her. She rolled her eyes at me while giving me a nasty attitude. With that same breath she turned to her fellow coworkers and started yelling at them right in front of everyone. That lady is super disgusting in my eyes."
"I want to preface this review by saying I've been going to this thrift store for 20+ years. I've never, ever had an issue before my most recent visit. So about two weeks ago, I was in there shopping with my mom(who also frequents this place and has never had a problem). We bought our items, paid, and left. In the parking lot, I got to thinking that it all came out to be so expensive and I checked my receipt. I noticed I had been charged $12 for something that said $2(there was cents involved, but I can't remember the exact numbers). My mom took the item back in and asked for a simple $10 refund. The cashier treated my mom like she was a common criminal. She was told that "nothing in the store was that price because they don't do $2-something on ANYTHING" as if we should know their pricing policies. She then told my mom the marker had been CLEARLY rubbed off to make it look cheaper and if we hadn't done it, someone else had. My mom literally took her finger and rubbed the numbers as hard as she could and couldn't even smudge the ink. The cashier told her if she spit on it, it would come off. My mom asked for the manager and they both kept side-eying her. Mind you, my mom is a 60 year old woman who's never even had a parking ticket. The manager then told my mom that she should have noticed it rang up wrong at the register instead of waiting until she left the store, as if my mom is supposed to watch the register like a hawk to make sure it's being entered correctly. As a customer, we shouldn't have to do that. AND THE CASHIER SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT IT WAS ACTUALLY 12 SOMETHING AND NOT THE 2 SOMETHING THAT WAS WRITTEN ON THERE. If it was "obviously smudged or tampered with", we should have been informed. Why did she notice that and not say anything to us beforehand? My mom suggested them going back and watching the cameras since they want to accuse her of trying to steal something, but of course they had no interest in doing that. There was more stuff said, but that's the gist of it. I will never, EVER go back here. Hope the entire place shuts down. If you shop here, please be wary of pricing and watch them to make sure they don't overcharge you and/or accuse you of something. *Oh, and the pricing here is ridiculous now. I noticed this before all the drama started. Considering the quality of items, location, and experience, the items are WAY too expensive. Some of the stuff was more expensive than retail? The bougie thrift stores in madison are cheaper."
"Kind of dirty. A little overpriced for a thrift store. Clothes organization is a big factor for me at thrift stores and here, it wasn't the best. They have general sizes for example; size small would be 0-6. Normally I'm a size small, but here I have to search for my size within what would normally be my size range."
"Overall the pricing I didn't think was incredible here but it was bad. Store is pretty big with a lot of things everywhere. We found a few good shoes and pairs of shorts here. All sorts of things show up here. There was a tanning bed, tons of furniture and sports equipment. Lot's of clothing. I would love to go back and dig around some more. We were in a bit of a rush as they were about to close when we showed up."
