"I had an appointment with Shonita and I will say her first impression was really nice and professional. The only problem I have is the price. I came in for a cut and style. No relaxer and no rinse or anything else, just simple short cute and wash. She charged 80 dollars and I still had to style my own hair before leaving because it looked nothing like the pictures I had shown her. Then to top it off she says " well I did my job " needless to say I will not be going back. Price was totally ridiculous for what I had done....Also want to add after getting home and actually looking at my hair...the haircut was terrible!! It looked like she went to barber college..I had to go to a real beautician to straighten it out..she even said the cut was horrible and didn't understand what she was trying to do..."
"I hate my regular hairstylist was busy I went here and they definitely took advantage of me. I paid 400+ for a 18inch wig that didn’t last a month it was thin and installed so badly. It was “360” the lady didn’t do my baby hairs and it was so messy I paid 145 for that they wouldn’t even style it saying it would be additional 50. Please don’t go here I could see if the service was worth their crazy high price but they literally don’t know how to properly install wigs or protect your hair. Never again"
"I am sad to say I am very unhappy with the results of my purchase/s here. I have never had any kind of sew in or extensions etx so I came here to learn as well as buy. Initially I was told I should get a full 360 sew in based on my description of what I wanted my hair to look like. Then I had a consult with a stylist who said the people who sell the hair don't know what's what, and I should do a frontal and tracks. I was told 8n initial consult with woman selling the hair (Amanda I think?) that the hair was all virgin, it was all uniform yellow blonde and it didn't occur to me that virgin hair wouldn't look like that. My own duh moment, so bad on me for not challenging an obvious lie. I said I wanted it colored to match my natural hair, which is an ashy blonde with dark blonde roots, and believed it would be fine since it was virgin. So I paid $400 for a frontal and 2 bundles. Then I paid the stylist $150 to dye it to match me, she took pics of my natural hair to ensure it matched. When I arrived for the install the hair was wet and being dried, I only saw the tracks and it seemed a bit light and had no darker roots, but I thought it was OK and would look different on once dry. I shoukd have demanded to see it all dry 1st. So, I was braided and installed which I'll say was gentle and also throughout this whole process the staff and stylist were very friendly and nice. She kept my back to the mirror until just about the end. Half way thru she told me she wouldn't have started with a frontal and tracks, and how I shoukd have just done something else. Which was super frustrating as she was the one who had convinced me to get the frontal and tracks in the 1st place, they were already paid for and dyed now. So once it was all installed it seemed nice, kind of bright but OK and I figured there was no point in complaining about it. She oiled and straightened it. I paid the additional $150 for installation. I left and people were looking at me a LOT but I decided it was a GOOD kind of look. I was wrong. The lace front was super noticeable and I had ppl asking me if I had eczema later, in natural light it became obvious that the frontwl was like bleach blonde platinum while the tracks were a ashy shade and it was all uniform blonde with not even a hint of roots. I didn't know what to do and tried just styling it down over the hairline. I was told I'd be able to put it up in a pony. Not true. The tracks were SUPER obvious in back. I wasn't told I needed to wrap my head at night. Next day my hair was HUGE. Then I was sitting at my desk and my daughter walked by and said Omg the tracks were crazy visible at the crown of my head. Soooo then I was really shook up and went to 2 salons and a store that carries wig products and basically was informed my hair wasn't virgin and had now been way over processed and needed to have inches cut off, I was told the tracks were put in badly, I should have been told to wrap it, shouldn't have paid so much for a bad dye job. No one could believe there was a sign saying no return or exchanges, that I couldnt go back. So, we cut it out. And in process learned the frontal was glued to my hair line and ripped out a bunch of my hair in the process of removal. This was a thing the stylist was even saying should never happen and it'll destroy the natural hair line, and then she did it to me! $700 later I have a bag of useless blonde hair I was able to wear for abt 48hrs, my family feels like I was conned. That the people here saw that I was a novice and took advantage of me. Maybe. But I actually feel it was a lack of knowledge and skill. I think if she knew how to dye it to match, she would have, and she should have been honest. I think she knew it was bad and that's why she tried to talk me out of the frontal after the fact, and why she kept my back turned until it was done. Once I bought that hair, and then gave it to stylist to dye, I was out of luck, the stylists aren't employees. I had to pay for the dye and install by swiping my debit card on the girls phone, separate from the hair."
