"If you're looking for the worst place to stay, making oneself feel like trash...this Baymont by Wyndham invites you. Its being renovated. It looks as if 'renovation' is an excuse. This WILL be a job! Bathtub didn't work; not even a drip...and believe me, I felt as if I needed one the minute I entered the room. It's probably a blessing the tub wasn't working. Is it possible to feel dirtier after a bath? Two pillows for a king bed – the pillows being paper thin. The comforter was a throwback from another Era — not a bad thing — just a truly bad Era. Trash was all over, an enormous amount of trash outside guestroom doors. The best thing, which probably helped me sleep, was the abundant fragrance of weed. I normally take pics of places I stay. This place wasn't worth a pictorial documentation. Just picture the worst motel posing as a hotel and you've discovered one of Mobile's worst Baymonts. It's that bad. Wyndham, as a reward member, this needs corporate attention. This is what happens when the husband makes reservations. I found another hotel early the next morning. It was a must."
"This was the worst motel I ever stayed to in my life. Me and my family came to mobile for business wise and at the last minute we needed a room to stay at. We arrived here and my husband went to get a room. The woman at the front desk showed him 8 rooms and he was able to choose which one he wanted. He said all the rooms were disgusting but he chose the best one out the 8 of the rooms. The woman told him that half of the motel is under remodel. None of the rooms had a microwave. The woman lied and said she would get us one from another room the next day, but she lied. They were so stingy with towels and toilet tissue they start telling us they don't have any toilet tissue so my husband had to buy our own tissue. We had to go in the lobby and warm food in the nastiest microwave I ever seen. So we started eating out everyday. Also every 3 days we had to go back and get another key because they kept resetting it I don't know for what reason. Sometimes we needed to go in the lobby and the front desk had it locked for a while and we would see them coming out of anothers person motel room. One of the front desk workers were seen fighting with her boyfriend outside one morning. I had also got packages delivered there, my first package I received. My second one was stolen. I went to front desk to get my package and the text message hit my phone and let me know it was delivered the woman who was working that day lied and told me they didn't deliver it. So I opened and investigation claim with USPS and the deliver person on that day said it was delivered. So after I file an theif claim. I called and asked the front desk for the owner and they told me her name. So I finally called the front desk when the owner was there and I told her about what happened with my package and it was stolen by this woman did not care or have anything to say. I do not recommend. Worst disgusting motel I don't see how it's still in business. It needs to be SHUT DOWN. ITS NOT STAY ABLE OR LIVABLE BECAUSE I NOTICED THEY HAVE ALOT OF PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIVING THEIR. SHUT THIS MOTEL DOWN OR INVEST FULLY AND REMODEL IT THE RIGHT WAY. The picture with the black car is the woman who was working the day my package was stolen and she lied and said my package was not delivered."
"Awful! We sat in the lobby waiting 15 minutes until the employee showed up. He was nice, but when we walked into the room, it smelled like smoke, half the lights didn't work, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the king size bed only had 2 small pillows and was leaning to one side. The bathroom was dirty, and the drawers on the dresser were all broken. I went to the desk to see if maybe we could get a room that looked and smelled a little better. We were told that all the rooms would look and smell the same while they were renovating. We asked for a refund because there was no way we could sleep there, so now we are waiting for that plus the $50.00 deposit that they charged us that we didn't know anything about. I understand having to renovate, but don't rent out subpar rooms at full price and expect people to be okay with that."
"This is one of the worst most run down hotels I have ever been to, and I have traveled and been to a lot of hotels. Do NOT stay here! Just awful! The gentleman was kind at the front desk. They have no breakfast, no pool, the building is in complete disrepair. No microwave and the fridges are old and falling apart. Do not stay here! There are much better places for a few dollars difference. I should have read the reviews better. This one ended up being the worst of them all!"
"The woman checking me in was nice, but in the first room she offered me, I had to reject. She had warned me about previous water damage and said it had been cleaned. Clearly, it had not been cause it hurt my eyes and lungs as soon as I opened the door. They moved me next door, and I accepted being tired from a long road trip. The smell of smoke was bad, being it was a non-smoking room. Check out the pictures. On a positive note, there were room unavailable due to a makeover, or so I was told. Oh, the one with pee in the toilet bowl, it was there when I arrived."
