"Ordered 1 burger, 1 crispy chicken sandwich and an order of fried pickles (if you can call them that) for 65 bucks. Fried pickles were basically pickles with soggy breading falling off and barely any to begin with. "Make it gourmet" is a joke - almost 20 bucks and you only get 2 toppings and cheese and cannot add more. Chicken was overcooked and buns are way too small for the size of the chicken or beef patty that they are for. Flavor was nothing special, especially when factoring they are supposed to be gourmet. Should have gone to Kuma's corner like I normally do."

"I came here with a couple friends. We did outdoor dining. Service was fine but food was kind of just ordinary. I got the loaded potato skins and parmesan burger. Potato skins tasted great, I love cheesiness. The burger I was disappointed because people were raving about it in the reviews. The burger was cooked medium rare but wasn’t juicy and I didn’t really taste much of the parmesan. Prices were slightly high for the lack of quality in the burger."

"Great independently owned restaurant in a sea of corporate chains. Ordered the Cobb Salad. The chicken was real, and everything down to the avocado was fresh. Was talked into ordering their house made cheesecake to go. Didn't last 15 minutes after I returned to my hotel. Hint: take it with the sauce on the side. Grest for dipping the cheesecake bits in."

"We were excited to try this place as it had been featured on Chicago's Best. The burgers are char grilled and huge! We ordered their wings as an appetizer...there was zero seasoning on them. We got the garlic Parm and buffalo wings. If there had been any salt and pepper on them, they would have been decent but no, zero seasoning. The burgers came out... ordered the garlic Parm burger and their version of a southwest burger. They would have been good again if there was some seasoning on it. Just kinda bland. Lastly, we ordered dessert...now that was great!!! The cheesecake with the raspberry sauce was delicious!! Their desserts are made in house and did not lack flavor...I'd go back just for dessert."

"The Assembly was an OK place to stop for some lunch. The burgers were good. Our server was helpful, friendly and full of smiles. Not sure who the older lady was by the entrance, but she shure wasn't happy. Didn't say anything to us as we walked in. She walked around the restaurant the whole time with a look of disappointment. I know sometimes things don't go as planned. At least be professional and hide your feelings with a smile and a hello."
