"Honestly you wouldn't expect the library in a relatively small suburb to be so modern but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that out when I first visited about 5 years ago. It has a not-huge-but-definitely-not-small collection of comics but the thing that really got me was that the Plainfield library actually has manga, as well. Not only this, but they also have a ton of anime on blu-ray and DVD, speaking of they have a huge collection of digital media to listen to, watch, or read. And it has all the lil niceties you come to expect from libraries - it's clean but not medical, just enough to let that old book smell waft through the building; it's quiet because the staff do a great job of ensuring everyone uses their inside voices; and no one comes to bother you if you decide to spend half a day there sitting and reading or studying. Much respect to the town of Plainfield if for no other reason than the library. And all the respect to the librarians and staff there, they are a light in a dark world! Thanks!"

"The staffs here at this library are all amazing set of people. They are always willing to help you. They have great people skills and a high level of receptiveness. My favorite part are the private study rooms and a range of services that’s been offered."

"I'm a lover of all libraries, a quiet place full of 1000's of books, movies, computers, I'm sold and can stay for hours. The Plainfied-Guilford township library does not disappoint! I can tell it was recently renovated and a decent amount of money spent. The library is full of huge windows letting natural light in. It's huge with a dedicated section for kids, and another for teens or "young adults ". They also have some super neat things you can check out after becoming a member. These are very different than I've ever seen in another library. Not going to spoil what it is tho, you'll have to go check it out for yourself!"

"Our Homeschool group rented a room here for a class. It's a beautiful library, with convenient parking, and it's easy to find. They were selling older/used/replaced books in the lobby for incredible prices, so that was awesome. The photo I posted is the car I colored in my daughter's class. I'm very proud of it. I know this has nothing to do with the library, but I feel like it's still important."
