"Fortezza is a lovely hole-in-the-wall coffee shop and hang out space! A little sparse on comfortable/plush seating, but the various options make up for it somewhat. Want a coffee table? They’ve got a lovely live-edge setup. Privacy and seclusion? The back room is ideal to hide yourself away for a few hours. Want a view? There’s a window seat with cozy cushions and a quaint street view of downtown. Whether for here or to go, Fortezza is an ideally situated coffee shop in the heart of Fort Wayne."

If you have a public library card, parking in their lot and then walking is a good alternative if there are no parallel spaces available. That's if you want FREE parking. If you want something closer, by all means, go to a nearby garage with paid parking. II. SERVICE The milk steamer wasn't operating. Bummer.. since this is the only impression I'll be able to have of Fortezza Cafe as someone from out-of-state. The staff was friendly about it. I like that they have sugar free syrup options available here for beverages. IV. QUALITY The Americano was acidic and dense. I would say the glassware needs updating ~ the mug I used was fairly dingy for something you put intimately to your lips. V. CAPACITY A few tables were available around noon on a weekday. "A friend & I came here while I was visiting from out of town. I had a drip coffee - strong, bold flavor. She had a chai tea latte - I took a sip and it was a good balance of spicy & sweet. There is a decent amount of seating and I enjoyed the vibe. Would definitely come back next time I’m visiting!"

"Nice coffee job in the heart of downtown. It was a few minute walk from my hotel, reviews and prices seemed good so I wanted to check it out. The staff was friendly, the decor was perfect for a coffee shop. I was a bit disappointed with the oatmeal as I'm pretty sure it was from a packet and heated in the microwave. The coffee was ok, I didn't like that they didn't have half and half out so you could add your own; they do it for you."

"This is a happening place. Their coffee is amazing. You can book their conference room for bigger groups. The down to earth atmosphere gives Fort wayne vibes. So its good place to study, and perfect for solo trips."
