"Always really enjoy Gary's. It was such a treat for us to go as a kid. Some things just don't change though. They still have the teeny tiny eating lounge The food is awesome, I do wish they would change a few things like toasting the bread on some sandwiches. But I'm just nitpicky... "This little hole in the wall has the absolute best milkshakes around! My favorite is the pineapple shake. My daughter loves the peanut butter shake. The shoelace French fries are freshly made and taste incredible. Their cheeseburgers are made to order with fresh tasty buns and a generous portion of burger."

"Every since the pandemic I’ve been work from home, out of Henderson. One of the things that I miss is Gary’s driving over in Owensboro. I know it’s not that far, but when you work there it’s a lot easier to go there. Gary’s has one of the best burgers in Owensboro. Just be prepared you will wait a little while while they prepare your food but when it comes out it is hot! So don’t get all upset about the time it takes. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes which were cooked perfectly and had just a Lotta flavor. Cheese sticks I mean who messes up cheese sticks. Well some people do and you know that’s true! But Gary’s did not. But the burgers! That’s where it’s at. They have inside and outside dining, and also a drive-through if that’s what you want. If you’re looking for a really good drive-in food experience, and Gary’s is the place to go."
