"My husband and my 7 year old and I walked in on a Saturday at about 11:30. Every other booth was roped off, but for no apparent reason. It was very strange and I'm not sure if that's something that they consistently do or if they had just done it that day for some reason. It seems as if it was something that had been there for a while as they had mannequins set up in one of the booths."

"Food was great, enjoyed our burgers & fries, although the fries were not hot. The waitress could use some social skills. No smile, no welcome, never checked during our meal if everything was ok. Visibly did a huge exhale and eye roll when my fellow diner was saying what he wanted on his burger. We stopped by on a whim and next time will keep driving. It's too bad because the Portage one is exceptional."

"The experience there was hands down was the best service I've ever received in NWI. The manager was friendly and helpful, the waitress was spectacular!!! I had a grilled chicken salad but I also wanted a burger (without the buns). It was way more than I needed, but truly delicious. Please stop by when you have a chance. You won't regret it."

"Every single one of these have been exceptional. From Portage to Griffith each and every one has went above and beyond. I will have to say this one is the absolute nicest one we have visited. The wonderful thing is the good, service, prices, and cleanliness are always the same no matter which one it is. But this one is “prettier” inside. I love the way they all seem to have the really cool looking stools and feel of the fifties. I can’t say enough nice things about this place! Thanks for always making our visits awesome."
