The Grillehouse of Tupelo 205 East Troy Street, Tupelo, MS 38804

"I’m going to start this by saying my favorite restaurant ever is Oxford Grillehouse. So, I was super excited when they opened a location here, as it is closer to me. While the atmosphere is amazing, the food just isn’t the same in quality. The biggest part of it being my favorite was that I could get a well-done steak that was still super juicy, not burnt, cuts well, and didn’t have to be sent back to the kitchen. At least 2 of the times with the Tupelo location, I’ve had to send my steak back to the kitchen. Also, the lack of steak knives and the tall height of the tables by the bar are inconvenient. Cutting steak at the chest gives no leverage and feels a bit suffocating. The alcoholic drinks are okay in taste, but I’m a lightweight and drank 3 amaretto sours and felt nothing. I put the drink name, because I know some people will say the drink choice might have been the reason lol. This could very well be true, but I’ve had some that I have actually felt a buzz from. However, I felt nothing at all from these delicious drinks. My second favorite item is the Gouda Mac, which is still great at this location, as well as the fried green tomatoes. Overall, I would definitely go again! These are just some small things that would make the experience better."

"Enjoyed this bone in Ribeye. My wife enjoyed the crab cakes. Very fun environment. The hostess and waitress were both very pleasant. It's a must when in Tupelo."

"Our first time here at the Grillhouse. The location, decor, and atmosphere are all superb. We were greeted and promptly seated and treated very well. We tried the ahi tuna, Greek salad and the Sea Bass. However, the warm rolls with strawberry butter and honey butter is worth the trip. Looking forward to trying more dishes!"

"I was there celebrating my birthday along with my sisters and nieces this past weekend. All of us agreed that the food was PHENOMENAL! I had the pasta mac, but the star of the show was the thick-cut bacon for an appetizer. The portion sizes are also extremely generous. We definitely plan to return!"

"Different options of seating, private room or in the open. There is an "upscale sports bar" vibe. Staff dressed nicely but big screen TV showing ball games in the corners of the bar area where we were seated. Our waiter, Bentley, was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and had drink options that were not listed. The sampler appetizer is huge and delicious! Fried green tomatoes and bacon wrapped shrimp stole the show. The ribeye was executed perfectly but needed a bit more seasoning (we are from Cajun country after all). The lobster tail was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The vegetables were charred to perfection but the Organo sprinkled on top should've been left off. Sea bass was cooked perfectly as well, but the bed of risotto was a bit chewy. Mild adjustments could be made but all in all we would return, especially for the service provided."
