"Such a great place to ride mountain bikes or take a walk through nature. The trails are so thoughtfully designed and it’s like a little slice of heaven right outside the city!"
"Extremely fun. I’d say any bike with decent tires and some sort of front suspension could do the easy routes. I did the blue and green loops on a Trek Dual sport, which did just fine, but there were a couple spots I felt like she was getting beat up pretty good. The more difficult loops looked like they definitely required a legit mountain bike."

"I love this place. It's very close to my house and a quick drive to downtown Rockford. We took our dog for a walk and made sure to step aside when a biker was coming. It's a must visit. Mountain bikers appeared to really enjoy the trails. This was a hike/walk that I feel would be good for the whole family. 10/10 for its beauty and how close it is."
"Great for hiking, not just biking! Beautiful & serene. Small stream runs through the park, and tons of varied trails. Beautiful prairie vistas & wooded areas. Huge, roundabout parking lot. Changing rooms & nicer Port-a-potty."
