"I visited on a weekend in early October right when the fish were starting to run up river so there were lots of fisherman. The leaves were starting to change colors. I had never walked the riverwalk before. It passes by stores and restaurants right in Rockford. The day I was there it was raining off and on all day, so it wasn't very enjoyable. But I definitely recommend checking it out."

"Beautifully quiet. A winter wonderlerland of water, lights and snow (December ;)). They have added so many more benches and chairs around the dam. Always find a great spot to sit and enjoy the view and comforting sounds of the water."

"The walking path beside the Rogue River above the dam here are so beautiful. On one side the walk goes through a woods but on the other side it goes beside wildflowers galore, and a family of swans was there also! There are little places to eat and picnic tables, shops and sometimes a farmer's market here. It's really my favorite place in the whole area!"
