"I visited this lake for the first time yesterday with a friend of mine. There were so many photographers taking pictures of the beautiful fall colors. The trails are easy to follow and give you the opportunity to follow alongside the lake. The woods offer views of beautiful hills, trees, and the lake. I would highly recommend this park if you're looking for some lite exercise or to walk a few miles. I will be returning in the spring to see the beautiful blooms views that season has to offer."

"Great hike around the lake. Parking is right off the road. The blue trail around d the lake is mostly flat with just a couple small hills. Most of the trail is gravel or sand, and was dry."
"Nice place for a variety of hiking pursuits. Trails are well marked and they have maps at each intersection. Not too difficult as the terrain is fairly level and most trails are Wheelchair accesible. Nice touch. Lots of people fishing for Bluegill, Bass and Perch and the flower I posted is a 'Pickerel weed'. Fitting for Pickerel Lake."
"Wonderful nature area with many walking trails. The trails are nicely maintained and also has walkway over the lake water. All kinds of wild life are encountered along the trail. If you love nature this is the place to go."
