"Townsend has become a family favorite. The park is well maintained. During the summer there are multiple playgrounds, bathrooms and large open areas to enjoy. The creek that runs through adds fun, a place to cool off and hunt crawdads, and charm. Parking is plentiful and there's sun and shade. During the off season, it's still lovely to go to the one open play area and burn off some energy after long days at school."

"This is a very beautiful Park, with large areas, more than one playground, beautiful scenery, picnic tables grills you name it. It has adorable little Bridges with a creek running through it. It's a great place for kids it's also great place for adults just to be in such pretty surroundings."
