"My oven cooling fan went bad, so I called them because they came highly recommended by friends and neighbors. Biggest mistake I ever made. I gave them a call and they couldn't get to me until 5 business days later. Understandable, because I'm sure they're busy. When the technician arrived he told me the cooling fan was bad and they needed to order it. He also told me that it should have already been on order, but they failed to do so. Additionally, I had to pay them $300 for them to place the fan in order and pay for the service call. He said they wouldn't have the part until the following week, because they had to order it. So, I'm going on two weeks without an oven at this point. A week goes by and I get the confirmation call the day before...of course I confirmed the appointment. The technician tried to call me, but I was travelling that day, so I missed the call of course. Because I missed the call they decided not to come repair my oven, even though my wife had been home waiting all morning for them to show up. I asked them why didn't they show up because I confirmed the appointment the day before right? Well, "that's just how they do things". So, they rescheduled me for the following Tuesday. Tuesday comes around and I'm sitting home waiting for the technician to call, and this time they have my wife's number so what could go wrong? They call me to tell me they have to reschedule because they "DON'T HAVE THE PART!" So I gave them money to order a part 2 weeks ago and they somehow don’t have it??? Now, you know as well as I do they did at one point but I'm assuming they used it for another customer and didn't bother ordering another one. 3 weeks now without an oven. DO NOT hire these people. Worst business practices I've ever seen. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy."
"This past Saturday I had donated blood and drank and ate something before leaving. I stopped at Bob Wallace Appliance for help with a Whirlpool cooktop. After I walked in, I said that I had to sit down because I was feeling lightheaded. Amanda asked if she could get me a water or a Coke. At first I declined. Amanda kept a close eye on me. I told her that I was ready to go to the Parts Department and she walked me down to the Parts Department. I was helped by a very nice young man, Evan. I told him the problem I was having and he researched various information and offered suggestions for me. It was then time to see the Salesman, Brannon. Evan walked me to his desk. I did ask Amanda for the Coke because I was still feeling a little lightheaded. Brannon went over all the information that Evan had uncovered and we discussed how I would continue. When I was ready to go to my car, Amanda, walked me to my car. I have never have had such great customer service. Thank you Amanda, Evan and Brannon."
"We called ahead for a GE washing machine belt. They checked stock and had one. We told them we would be there in @ 20 minutes. They got our name and made a note of the stock number. We arrived and found getting to Parts very easy. We gave our name, they found the note, and pulled the belt from stock. Everyone in Parts was friendly and helpful. We installed the belt. The fit was perfect, and the machine runs as new."
"Our dryer died and we needed a new one, ASAP. Unfortunately, I don't have ASAP money. BWA had a dryer for $150, tested, clean, and with a 30 day warranty. The guy that was there was very helpful and personable. On the whole, a very positive experience."
"Very smooth process. They are knowledgeable and definitely honest hearted. Someone down the line made a little mistake and they called the next day or so later when they found it and wanted to fix it. So that definitely spoke volume to me. They were very careful and enthusiastic when delivering the stuff I ordered."
