"I had an extremely unpleasant and unnecessary encounter with a sales associate earlier today. I was taken aback because I frequent this store often and have never had an encounter like this. I was in the back of the store in the lingerie section trying on jackets and tops and using the full length mirror to evaluate the fit. My attire consisted of a tank top, a long duster sweater, and jeans. Since I was only trying on jackets and sweaters I opted not to use the dressing room and instead used the mirror. In addition, my tank top was very modest in nature and even completely covered my bra straps and abdomen. That said, when a sales associate told me to try on clothes in the dressing room, I smiled and informed her that I was okay because I wasn’t trying on pants, ,just jackets and sweaters. She then proceeded to raise her voice/tone and told me to go to the dressing room. I responded that wouldn’t be necessary as I wasn’t exposing myself to anyone, I wasn’t even interfering with anyone at the store because as I stated earlier, I was all the way in the back. After I opted not to comply with HER WISHES she walked off, but not before rambling some nonsense and giving me the middle finger."
"Fast , with excellent prices! Quality products."
"Very beautiful scenery with immaculate grounds keeping. Very professionally run course with friendly and helpful staff. Great food and drink at the 19th hole."
"(I've been in retail and know this won't matter to them - but it's notable.) While the store seems cleaner, better stocked, and to have a better variety than ever, it is the most hostile shopping experience I have ever had. Monday afternoon I went in. My son had been acting strange all morning and I was waiting on a call back from Greenvale Pediatrics right around the corner. I was doing kind of a big clearance shop - for beachy stuff - because I'm leaving Sat. for the first vacation I've had since my son was born. Additionally, I have changed shapes and sizes (even though it may not look like it) and I am still and just now finding my way in the clothing department. If it wasn't comfortable, I haven't worn it since before March 2022. While we were in the store, he was asleep, and I leaned down and put my hand on his head and he was SWELTERING. I have a ton of grown step kids but this is the first time my baby had ever been sick, and I had never felt him that hot - much less that quick. I grabbed the stroller, and we took off QUICKLY and left a cart of clothes in the middle of the store. I then got him in the car and parked back in front of the store (because that's exactly what a good thief would do) and walked back in and asked if they found my phone in the cart as I couldn't find it and I would need it..... clearly. The lady was extremely rude and looked at me like I had four heads while my son was struggling to breathe in the car (it was covid and an ear infection.) He is already semi asthmatic. They were absolutely HORRIBLE to me. I left, thinking I could come back and get my phone later if I needed to. Luckily, I had it. Think they got my sunglasses though. Flash forward to Wednesday night (yes, we were covid negative), my 16 yr old & I go back to buy the clothes I had left and to grab her a few things. Obviously, I had to try on some different sizes, but I needed 3 new outfits and so did she. We did our shopping and ALL AROUND THE STORE, these women were OBNOXIOUSLY following me everywhere. I figured maybe that's just standard like in a lot of those places. I thought maybe I was just being paranoid - I have developed a pretty intense post-partum panic/anxiety disorder - so I ignored them entirely. They were also super rude at the dressing rooms and definitely overbearing about it - but I still thought maybe, it was just the way they are. So, then we go to check out - having purchased just about the vast majority of what we tried on - unless it just didn't look good. We spent over $200. The next thing I know, they all start coming up to the register where we are and lingering. Followed by what I'm assuming was the most childish and unprofessional manager I have ever encountered (while they were also loudly and rudely discussing other paying customers who were in the store) walks right up, gets my attention and almost makes a total high school child's smirk. As I'm writing, I'm baffled all over again. Wild behavior. Still - I just thought my anxiety was messing with me, until I got back in the car. I left on a Monday abruptly with my sick baby - and then RETURNED after making a total scene. What kind of thief would return to a place where they made a scene to steal again? or to be caught? When we got in the car and I mentioned that I felt like they were being super strange, she said they were 150% (she said bc of my tatoos lol). I might have knuckle tattoos - AND a past, for that matter, I don't lie to anyone about that. However, it's been a little over 6 years since I have done anything - and anything done before that time, I have settled out in court or personally. I am a stay-at-home mom, that lives in Bluff Park, and is going on vacation for 7 days. I don't even behave that way. If the prices hadn't been so good - we probably would have walked out, right at the register. May not matter, but they won't get my business anymore. Gonna post my son's paperwork from across the street that day - it was so out of line. I guess we know what they say about assumptions (even if they are completely unintelligent ones.)"
"This was my first time going into a Marshalls I was disappointed in the store the floors were dirty the had leaves and price stickers all over them. The shoes were totally un organize. The store reminded me of going into a very big thrift store. The employees on the other hand were nice and helpful."
