"They shut down for moths to make the place less user friendly. They got rid of half the lockers and to make up for it they made them half the size so now you have to use two if your bring a bag and a coat. Now half the locker room is just empty. They don't have enough plates and has the most judgmental clients of any gym I've been to.you want to feel welcome goto powerhouse those are good people. Staff has always been very good. Facilities are mediocre but its 20 bucks wo I guess you get what you pay for."

"Love the staff they’re great. Only reason for 3 star is the closing for a month. First nobody cared if the place looks like a Starbucks. Secondly if you picked the right construction company should of been down 1 week tops. Company should’ve been remodeling 24/7 instead of 9-5. Should’ve considered most people sign up based on location and driving to saline and ypsi is 20 minutes each way from Ann Arbor it’s a hassle. Other then that I have zero complaints!!!"

"This place is good, the facilities are nice and staffs are friendly. But when I was going to move for my job, I walked in to the gym and ask the staff to cancel my membership. I specifically said I will be moving out of Ann Arbor completely. But they just paused my membership for a month and it's charging me again. Now that I am not in Ann Arbor, there is a whole cumbersome mailing process that I need to do to ask them to cancel it for me. It's super annoying. I am not sure if this is done on purpose to add more cancellation difficulties to make you not to want to change your gym or is it just a mistake."

"Clean and well maintained gym. Welcoming and friendly staff. One and only problem, temperature was above normal range. I couldn't continue more than 30 minutes. It was 74F or 75F. Everyone was sweating. Need to fix."
