"Great little park in the heart of Ann Arbor. Beautiful foliage in the fall with a lot of moving water to view. It's a nice little slice of nature to escape the hustle and hustle of the city. There is a building there that is just described as a shelter. While it's a beautiful building, it seems sort of odd and out of place for the park but maybe there is more history to it than I know."
"It is very nice, with lots of Native plants, and few invasives. The paved path makes walking easy for people with disabilities. There are various places to look into the passing streams, shallows, wherein one can see frogs, snakes, and small fish, as well as relatively tame squirrels and dozens of bird species. It creates a lovely, intimate wedding venue at the far tip, with a small shelter that has columns."
"Very clean area. Perfect place to park kayaks at and enjoy the view of the river. Only downfall is that there are quite a few homeless people. I wouldn't recommend going solo. Some were not pleasant looking."
"Beautiful park. The day I went there were at least 3 big events happening. Huge play structure. Plenty of places to sit. Bathrooms. Free parking. Please bring mosquito spray bc this is a park surrounded by water. Nice walking trails. There is a bridge that leads to an enclosed soccer field. The bridge needs some work. It appears to be pretty old. However, I'm a bit heavier and I could feel the bridge just shaking and making all kinds of noise as I walked across. Great place to chill. Plenty of people walking their dogs. Everyone seemed friendly."
