"Don’t not move here this property and community has went down over the years. The property manager and maintenance guy are overwhelmed. I have had problems with a leak in the ceiling of my unit for sometime now. When it rains outside the water leaks into my unit.Mold had started to grow where the leak is in the ceiling . The gutters were taken down to locate the leak over 2 months ago and are still currently laying on the ground. The trash by the dumpster is never cleaned up. The trash by the front mailboxes is always overflowing, pot holes are everywhere, missing mailbox door just laying on the ground, the handicap sign is laying on the ground, old beds, box springs, stoves, and water heater is left by the dumpster for weeks. It’s horrible here not a Luxury apartment and definitely not worth the money. This place is a money pit. The sad part about this situation is that I can not and have not been able to fully occupy the unit and Village Green is not trying to repair or rectify the problem. I have been trying for several months now to get this issue resolved. It has caused me severe damage on multiple level.The area manager does not care about any repairs, maintenance or residence concerns."

"The maintenance team used to be good, but not any more. Lately I requested a service. The person came and left a bottle of unknown yellow liquid. I have reported it to the main office more than 2 weeks ago. And yet to get any reply. Very concerning and unsatisfying."

"Very poor service. Staff is not responding to requests on time. Kitchen countertop is not working request is not considered as high priority request. Before taking apts or housing look properly for any open issues, eventhough you mention it before hand they will not consider it after you take apt, you have to pay for any major breaking in equipments. Think for other possible options if you dont find any then and only then take this one. If you are umd student. Dont take this apts. They will not treat you properly."

"Melissa, the property manager, goes above and beyond to make sure residents are safe and well taken care of. Her professionalism coupled with her kind, friendly personality is one of the things that drew us to this community. She communicates well through email to make sure residents know expectations of the community and lets us know updates on maintenance issues and other pertinent information. I will be re-signing my lease, in large part, due to Melissa’s professional leadership in this community."
