Comfort Inn Near Greenfield Village

"I stay in Comfort Inn usually when I travel. I wasn't happy with the room upon arrival, but when I requested another room, they obliged without complaint. I had and shared my reasons with the lady who checked me in and again with the manager (she had questions). I was thankful for their service and concern. If I need to stay in this area again, I'd book here. Its location is spot on. It's near the mall and various shopping centers, freeways, and fast food and dine in restaurants. I wish the room's black out curtains closed. That was disappointing, but the room was decent with comfortable bed and pillows."

"Kind of in the middle of one of the few stretches of Michigan Ave that nothing is in walkable distance. Front desk is nice enough but after renewing our room, heard that housekeeping still went in our room without notice. Breakfast ended at 9:30 ( figured like most, it’d be 10 or 11 ) and ended up missing it."

"Excellent service. Our room was clean and safe. Breakfasts were great and very nutritional. Great location and convenient to eateries and shopping. Front desk services were great. Very friendly attendants. Looking forward to our next stay there."

"My issue is with housekeeping. Incident #1 one of my friends had asked for an extra towel. She was told by housekeeping that due to covid we can't give out extra towels WHAT???? This is the only hotel I've stayed at that has this policy. I don't think that policy exist she just didn't wanna give it to my friend. My friend had to explain to the lady that it was four of us for her to give her a towel. Sunday we had breakfast and stayed in the room till checkout time. Housekeeping was standing by our door till we came out (we could hear them talking loud). Before we could checkout the lady came running from the other elevator telling front desk one of the towels is damaged and its gonna cost $25. All of us are looking at her confused. The towel had makeup on it that's dirty not damaged. The lady kept saying it's damaged it cost $25. I understand if it had cigarettes burns and was cut up that's damaged. It seems like a money grab because why would you want front desk to charge us for something that can be cleaned. Even the front desk lady was looking at the lady funny. I hope that $25 wasn't deducted from the deposit. That's was completely uncalled and shows she lacks professionalism. *I will give an update if it was deducted from our deposit* UPDATE: 10/14/23 They deducted the $25 from our deposit (the four each went in on the room) my friend whose name is on the reservation called and they said that anything they can't clean like makeup is considered damage. Do not stay at this location"

"I Stay at choice hotels often. It’s hit or miss. Mostly good stays though. This is one hotel that needs renovation. Don’t let the exterior and lobby fool you for it looks like it was renovated. Once into the elevator things go down quickly. Thumping noise in elevator like cable issues. Dirt and tears in the carpet in hallway leading to room. Room keys that don’t work on a daily basis. Worn and torn bed sheets. Spilled liquid on the lamp between the beds. Unemptied garbage can in the room upon arrival. Stayed 3 nights. AC did not work on arrival. I asked for it to be repaired and it never was. Had to sleep with window open entire stay. Only two bath towels in the room. Busy road in front of hotel. Train tracks in back of hotel with 3am wake-up alarm by train horns. Breakfast was fine. Hope this helps."
