"My wife and I come here every year on our anniversary. Upon check in, the front desk lady (I forget her name but she was amazing) noticed we stayed here the same day last year. She immediately gave us a room upgrade and a breakfast voucher! Excellent service. Sad we won’t be able to come back next year due to the renovations."

"Stayed here while visiting the Henry Ford Museum and the Detroit Zoo. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very nice grounds, beautiful rooms. The pool was clean and huge. Like 12 feet in the deep end huge, which was fun for the kids. Would stay here again. Apparently great for weddings or events as well."

"Lovely grand hotel. Room was much larger than expected. Loved the historical village in the back. Staff was very kind and welcoming, even when my food delivery arrived to the hotel a few minutes before I did. My only concern was the air conditioning. I know it is a historic building, so I'm sure there are constraints but I had my room to the lowest available temperature and it was still toasty. Wouldn't stop me from staying again though."
