Lotus Townhomes

"After 5yrs of living here, we were finally able to move!! We encountered 6 different landlords in the 5yrs we were there. The most recent landlord is by far the worst, she was very disrespectful and they never return your calls. They stole pretty much our whole security deposit and said we had to replace the carpet which costs $830.00 dollars ( mind you we LIVED there for 5yrs) they refused to fix our toilet and replace our smoke detector batteries which I also was charged for that!!! We NEVER had a maintenance person!!! I definitely wouldn’t recommend living here!!! We are now taking legal action because they refuse to respond to us. The landlords who were trying to contact them to get tenant information about us, they would never respond or they would simply say “they will get back to them when they have time”!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! You will be ignored, things will never get fixed and you will be robbed in the end!!!!Its not worth the emotional stress!!"

"My first week living there my apartment was broken into. When I got home maintenance was in my apartment and said they didn’t know anything about the break in. Then later A neighbor 2 doors down used there key to unlock my door and came into my apartment while I was sleeping. The apartment complex changed my lock after I told them, but that should have never been a situation where a neighbor tenant has the same lock as another. I wrote to the management regarding this and never received any response or remedy to the situation."

"Mailbox of property phone full, can't ask for info and I've been trying for days. I'd hate to be someone living here that needs maintenance help. Doesn't seem like they care."

"First day of move in I found cockroaches. I notified the office when I realized what I found and discovered the townhome was infested to a decent point. They treated it as if it was not a large issue. They told me that they only treat "townhome to townhome" and not the whole building. Multiple neighbors of mine reported incidents of cockroaches in their townhomes as well, but all that management ever did about them was lay down glue traps. I had to pretty much get rid of the cockroaches myself as I was locked into a contract. They also never watered their grass as it died during the summer. My townhome had a large bee nest wedged in one of the dryer vents leading to the outside, which could have potentially caused a fire. 3 of my neighbors had water gushing down from the second level to the first level of their townhomes at one point due to older washing machines. They do not maintenance their buildings properly in the least bit. Do not trust the manger about anything he says, he will lie right to you just like he did to me. Writing this review so that no one has to experience the absolutely terrible time I had renting at Lotus. Please be aware."
