"As of 1/13/24 another leak has occurred. As of 12/29/23 another leak occurred. This part was written before 12/29/23 If you enjoy listening to water drip every day and the fear of personal belongings getting ruined, move here IMMEDIATELY. Been here only 3 months and had 4 different leaks with a 5th in the kitchen that’s been dripping for over a month."

"2year I live here … apartment was nice but the neighbors are so loud! Also people kept taking my carport spot which at the time there was nobody at the office to complain too! Food stay in the hallways for months before someone took care of it.. I wouldn’t recommend this place… but it beat being homeless! Also my first day of moving in they didn’t have my keys ready for me!!!"

"I haven't lived in Peppertree long but I have had a generally nice experience living here. My issues with it have nothing to do with management. Char had become the manager about the same time I moved in and she did an excellent job! She has made me feel valued and found me a place to live when I wasn't sure if I'd find one. Overall, maintenance has been good. The apartments are reasonable for what they offer. Though the kitchen space is small, I pay what I think is a fair price for a two bedroom - especially compared to other places in Kalamazoo. My issues have been that when I first moved in, my packages were stolen. There's been a lot of issues in my apartment specifically. My sink broke and the previous maintenance guy fixed it quickly but never gave me the final part. Also, it flooded my entire kitchen and nothing was done about the carpet by him so that will need to be ripped up when I do move out. Same thing with my bathroom - there was a leak from above and it flooded, ruining the hallway carpet. However Tyrone is in charge of maintenance now and does an INCREDIBLE job of coming quickly to solve issues. Generally, my neighbors are great (outside of the few who steal packages and scream all hours of the night). It's a safe place to live overall. Char really has worked hard to make it a better place to live."

"I’ve lived here for a year and a half and I love it! It’s quite the units are well maintained! The lady in the office Char is amazing! She stays on top of things and has made the atmosphere out here very family friendly! Anytime I’ve had an issue her and Tyrone have made sure it was fixed!! Would recommend!"

"I've lived here for 3 years. I've always loved the location, the quiet of it. The units are a good size, the rent is reasonable. The new manager especially has brought a certain air of dignity and an increasingly family friendly atmosphere. I appreciate the care we receive when things break in our apartment. Put simply, I consider this place a home, and I would not hesitate to raise a family here."
