"I've been dealing with discount tire for a lot of years and this one is a disappointment, I got a flat tire and because Chesterfield was the closest to me I figured I'd go there that was a mistake I dropped my car off and waited for them to call me because they had to order my tire because they didn't have any in stock which I was fine with before I left I asked how much will this cost me The gentleman I was dealing with said $15.86. not only did they not call me but I had to call them to get an update on my vehicle I had to wait until Monday morning to get my car due to scheduling which again is not their fault but when I go there to pick my car up it went from $15.86 to 35 dollars and then when I asked how did it go from 15 to 35 and nobody could give me an answer I felt the explanation I got was just anything off the top of their head that they could think of at the time. I will not be dealing with this discount ever again unfortunately people who cannot run a business or work the front desk puts a bad taste for other discounts that actually do their job correctly and right, so in my opinion if you're looking for great tires discount is the way to go but the one in Chesterfield is complete garbage."
"Tried 3 different times with an appointment to get a leaking tire looked at and every time I was told at least a 2-3 hour wait even though I had an appointment each time. What is the point of an appointment if I have to wait 3 hours for a leaking tire ? The past 3 sets of tires I have bought from discount tire I have battled with leaks due to them not checking for leaks after installing. Years ago when you would get tires the shop would mount them and then check for rim leaks and valve stem leaks before mounting to car. Now they mount the tires on the rim and send you on your way and leave it to the customer to find out they have a leak and then make them battle to get it in to get repaired. Customer service has taken a huge dip"
"Estimated wait time even with an appointment is roughly 4 hours drop the vehicle off before noon went to go pick up around five wasn’t even looked at an older gentleman was there at 9:30. Appointment time showed up after me. His vehicle wasn’t done, but it looks like a lot of Bay employees had lots of time on their hands went down the road Got it got my truck fixed In less than 30 minutes, I expected more from a professional place"
"Service was good, however we had our credit card information taken. We had to call our bank for fraud and dispute a transaction for several thousand dollars. Given our history, we are positive this is where it happened. Always use a credit card to protect yourself!"
"Brought my flat tire in to get changed, said they would have to order it, since it's not a common size, and it would take a couple days to be delivered. No problem there. The advisor ordered the wrong size tire, despite going out to check the size beforehand. I told them the issue, and they said the correct tire would take a couple days to come in. It took around a week, and they didn't give me any updates. I had to call almost every day to check on the status of the tire. Once they finally got the tire in, they mounted it correctly, but used aluminum wheel weights on my steel wheel, which resulted in the wheel weights falling off soon after. The techs need more training on how to balance a wheel. Steel weights on steel wheels, aluminum weights on alloys. I'd recommend going to another shop so the job can be done right the first time."
