"Nice and clean. Has a good selection of goodies."
"Do not come here! Two managers yelled at me and demeaned me in front of my two children while I was making a return. Initially, one manager pulled up the wrong receipt and said the items did not match up. She was yelling this so loud everyone in the store was turning to see what the commotion was about! The manager who did this was a heavy-set, caucasian, older woman with grey hair. A second manager, with dark hair, caucasian, also heavy-set, maybe in her 50s behaved extremely unprofessional and did not know good customer service. The way she talked to me was as if she had this aura of superiority. They were both extremely rude and got quiet when they realized they were wrong about the receipt. Then, when I told them I didn't receive a receipt, the manager with grey hair pointed to the Red-head cashier in her early 20s and said “Now she's getting written up”. How could a manager treat her employees this way in front of customers? I couldn't believe these older women (who should set an example for younger generations) would behave like this and demean other women. I'm especially mad because I was with my two young children!! And this was over a receipt not even an hour after I made the purchase! I recorded the interaction and will send it to corporate! Right then and there I told my children to never treat people this way. Then I asked my daughter if I should have also been rude, and she said “Two wrongs don't make a right”. So I ask you all, how can a ten-year-old know better than a grown woman?"
"Crazy high prices, items that used to be 99¢, are now $2.99. I found decor from Target dollar spot marked $3.00, and GW priced it at $2.99. That's no bargain. When the economy tanks, GW won't be around anymore."
"Had not been to this store (23 Granger) in around a year. They're charging $3 for a single used baby onesie. Not a solid gold used onesie, a regular stained one. Three. Dollars. Why. No. No."
"After conversing with past/present employees I have heard things that should be brought to the attention of corporate, as I do not think they would agree with how that store is being ran and what is happening at that location. Like favoritism to certain management, bullying and a few have expressed getting written up for something they were told to do by management. Like organizing the store to make it more presentable and better for guests in the store. Management friends like to hide in the back of the store and make only one of the managers do everything. As being in management myself and been through a couple of management courses, the way I have heard and seen (when I have been in there) is not how goodwill portrays itself as being. Being run by a manager that doesn't sound like she even knows how to be a manager. Might be good at being a thrift store but would not recommend, as they are a bad example of what they portray. Very sad"
