"I love supporting local businesses, especially when the staff and products are so great. The people who work at Down To Earth are knowledgeable about their products and engaged in the community. The store carries a good selection of supplements and bulk herbs - and as someone who has been working to overcome Lyme Disease for the last 6 years, I say that with some degree of authority. My favorite product of theirs is the Seven Sons meat products that they carry. Seven Sons Farms is a great local company with the best prices for local meat that I've found in the area. As far as I know, Down To Earth is the only store that stocks them. Down To Earth is also the only store in the area that has a refrigerated nut section, which is important for people with a sensitive digestive system. They also have a nice selection of cheeses and milks and they carry local frozen fruit throughout the winter. It's a great store and I always look forward to stopping by."
