"The confusing part was the entrance... it's upstairs from the Tippecanoe place, but it doesn't indicate that on the outside. Just go in and go upstairs. It's a really great bar with fantastic service. The hand-crafted beer created here is some of the best I've ever tasted. The bartender is interesting, informative, and would talk about beer and the business as much as you wanted. The staff all seemed to get along great. Plus, the food is amazing. Do yourself a favor and go here. It'll be worth the trip."

"Beer was good. Milk stout was quite nice, American pale ale too. Mead hybrid was interesting in a very good way. Yes, bartender was amazing but the building and ambiance were off the chart. Old mansion from 1870’s? Very, very cool. It’s a must stop if you’re in South Bend. The craftsmanship alone makes this worth a visit. Multi tiered building with many rooms and fireplaces. A architectural gem."
