McDonald's 3221 West Lincolnway West Highway, South Bend, IN 46628

"This place is bad. Bad neighborhood, bad staff, bad service, and bad food. Going through the drive thru, I saw a baseball bat had been taken to both the menu and ordering boards. I placed a simple quarter pounder meal order. At the window I was asked to park. The parking lot addicts kept me company. The vehicles in front and behind me also were parked and after a wait a little longer than expected the crew member arrived, with the wrong meal. I explained and she soon returned trying to convince me to take the daily dou le meal. I stepped into the restaurant to try to streamline what was becoming more complicated than necessary. In front of me was an employee who had been in the parking lot on a smoke break. As we walked through the door he went to dispose of the dri k top and straw he had, it did not go into the trash, he noticed, but never bothered to stop and pick it up off the floor. While watching the crew work, an employee walks in wearing dirty pants, a long gray tee shirt and a dirty McDonalds tee shirt. A crew member asks what he's doing there and he replies he's there to work. He then walks through the serving area to the fries bin and begins casually eating fries he pulls from the bin. No hamdwashing, cross contamination from his hands going into his mouth with each fry...AMAZING! I then receive my meal, not sure I even want it now. I ask to speak to the manager, who thinks I am upset about the 15 minutes I have now invested in my meal. I express the absolute deplorable violations of McDonalds procedures I have witnessed. She's sympathetic but I doubt a single crew member really cares. Immediately as I step away I hear another customer say to her "these fries are cold". I return to my car and find my fries are disgustingly cold and stiff, I should have checked. I did not eat this meal and will not return to this property. The Franchisee needs to take notice and action as does the South Bend Health Department."

"Dine with and probably have your meal cooked by crackhead. I have mistakenly gone to this location too many times in the hope it would get better but the service is always bad, fries are usually old and cold."

"You're employees are disgusting.. 3 meals that I paid a small fortune for. And can't even receive the entire order. A large fry only came with maybe 15 fries in it. Getting paid a $15 plus an hour to barely do the job they signed up for.. Its disgusting how management allows such poor work ethic."

"Used grubhub for an order for the first time and now probably the last time for fastfood. The double quarter pounder w/ cheese was RAW AND RED on the inside!!!! DISGUSTING! Yes grubhub refunded me for the order but I still had to get lunch from somewhere else on limited time. These patties are so thin....they aren't hard to put on a grill and cook them all the way through. Use a thermometer, follow health department standards and temp your food!"

"I'm not a fan of drive thru's, so I actually went out if my way to get here. My way of saying thank you to the business that are going the extra mile. It was so not worth it. The fountain drinks weren't working, at least the Coke products anyway. And as you can see from the tray, it's disgusting here. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the tray when we sat down. Distracted trying get a simple receipt. But when I emptied the tray I looked closer. That's grease all over it. At first I just thought it was an old tray, a little beat up. Then I ran my thumb thru it. Made me sick to think my family ate off that tray. Probably the last time we stop at a McDonald's. Really only stopped because of my daughter. I don't think she will ever forget this. Don't eat here, just dont..."
