"Our service was very good and our meals were prepared as ordered. Delicious!!! The side salad was large enough for us to share, and it was delicious, too. I love the bread, a must have... We will definitely return."
"Had about an hour wait for a table but it was worth it. Delicious food. Had the firecracker shrimp and pork club chop with loaded baked potato. Great service too."
"Craving a satisfying lunch spot in Elkhart? Look no further than 523 Tap & Grill! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and let me tell you, it was an experience that deserves a full 5-star review. Flavorful Wraps & Satisfying Burgers: My taste buds did a happy dance with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. The grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with crispy bacon adding a delightful crunch. The cheddar cheese melted beautifully, blending seamlessly with the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and creamy ranch dressing. The choice of spinach or sun-dried tomato tortilla was a nice touch, and I opted for the spinach, which provided a healthy and flavorful base. My dining companion opted for the Main Street Burger, and it was a sight to behold. This burger wasn't messing around! It boasted a perfectly cooked patty topped with delicious cheddar cheese, savory mushrooms, and crispy fried onion strings. The lettuce and tomato added a refreshing touch, while the BBQ-ranch sauce tied everything together with a sweet and tangy kick. Each bite was a delicious explosion of textures and flavors. Beyond the Food: The atmosphere at 523 Tap & Grill was both polished and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring our lunch experience was smooth and enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the helpful recommendations from our server, who guided us towards the perfect lunch choices. Overall Impression: Whether you're craving a flavorful wrap or a hearty burger, 523 Tap & Grill has something for everyone. The quality of the food, coupled with the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, makes this a top contender for your next lunchtime outing in Elkhart. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return to explore their menu further!"
"523 Tap & Grill was a perfect venue for a post event celebration with team members. The staff was able to organize a larger table setting for our group of 8 within a short time. The service was great, and the food was delicious. The Tableside Saganaki was a treat to see and extremely tasty. Since it was late, our team ordered appetizers and shared between us. It was more than enough for a late snack. I have also had lunch here and was pleased as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was laid back and chill. I highly recommend 523 if you are in the area."
"- Atmosphere - 5 (industrial/contemporary) - Service - 3.5/5 (slow and not intuitive - no water, long wait). There are other people but your server walking around+clean/bring food), but they are silent and not helpful. The service reminds me "wanna look posh Manhattan style", lacking Midwestern hospitality - Lunch time - 4/5 - slow - lunch time must be faster. 1.5 hour. Filet Mignon took a while. I've observed other tables (had sandwiches or salads) and service/wait time was similar FOOD: - Soup - 5/5 - New England Clam Chowder - excellent (served only twice a week) - Filet Mignon - 3.5/5 - cut could be better + prepared a bit dry + sides are separate price and very limited sides offered with french fries but no mashed potatoes (compared to The Vine which is must try 5/5) - Side - Veggies - 5/5 - excellent, not your usual steamed veggies, caramelized onions, etc - Tea - 2/5 - I wasn't offered any choice, regular cheap basic Lipton bag - Dessert - 4/5 - Hazelnut cake, impossible to eat with spoon, needs fork and strength. Overly sweet. -Drinks - 5/5 - excellent Margarita"
