"This is a good place to eat. They are a bit expensive, but that is everywhere . Prices, have gone up. The store, car, wash , bars, fast food, bread stores, every where. She has. Good food good atmosphere, friendly staff, but who doesn't have a bad day? Everyone, otherwise, I go there for Breakfast enjoy my food. Talk a bit then we leave."

"Enjoyed this place since it was the White House, The G&H (Fat Shirley's). Sure it's more clean now and the countertops no longer have 70 years of wear on them, but it's still pretty tasty, reasonably priced and of course the staff is attentive and friendly. Unlike the G&H days, it's safe to drink your coffee to the bottom of the cup. Used to be scared what you would find there. I'll be back again ."

"I was in town and found this place thanks to Yelp and Google. It’s a local, family diner. It has some booths and a large counter. Service was prompt and friendly. We both ordered omelettes. Waitress offered homemade jam - strawberry rhubarb, peach or blueberry. That was so good to add to my homemade biscuit. Omelette and potatoes were also very good. Numerous coffee refills. I even bought some homemade cookies for $1 each to take with me. Highly recommended!"
