Kankakee Grille South Bend

"We went for a birthday celebration. Large party of 19. We were given a spreadsheet to preorder from before hand. Ridiculous. We waited an extremely long time for our salads and half or more were incorrect. Then another long wait for our main course. My filet was over cooked . I sat for 35 minutes with no food while they prepared another. Everyone in our party was done eating when they brought my food. It took the manager 15 to 20 minutes to come back to make sure my steak was prepared correctly. I told her it was boxed up because my party was done with there main course. She then shrugged and moved on. When getting our desserts, the manager threw the spoons on the table and ran into the kitchen. The entire dinner was a disaster. Update after speaking with Ashley we find out that the choices we were given on the spreadsheet for the main course, the 2 steak choices were then given upcharges. Without Letting us know before hand. If I could give them a negative number review I would."

"It's not a bad place to dine. The New York strip was good, the chefs choice on seasonal vegetables left much to be desired, carrots that seem to be rubbery in texture with a very odd flavor. The star of the dining experience was the blue corn biscuit, that was absolutely delicious !"

"Restaurant in the casino. I went for lunch and the food was not what I was used to. Had nachos which were cold and the flatbread pizza. The pizza sauce tasted like it came out of a can of raviolis. I will say that if you go for dinner the ribeye is great and that blue cornbread with the preserves was dynamite. Not sure if they still have it."

"The buffalo wings and the burgers are excellent, and the cocktails are spot on. All the appetizers are very good and the service is usually pretty decent. When I'm at Four Winds Casino South Bend I will definitely continue to eat here."

"Awesome meal. Have some questions about the wild rice but not for this post. Had grilled broccoli as well with the Bison ribeye, and a couple glasses of syrah red wine. All quite nice. The restaurant is beautiful as is the whole casino. This is not inexpensive dining though so be ready for that. Worth every penny, imho."
