"I never got a chance to see the doctor because the medical office staff was so difficult to work with. I was hung up on at least five times while trying to schedule my appointment and check on the status of medical records and placed on long hold times just to be hung up on. It would be worth it to re-train staff."

She is tireless in her efforts and her patients are her priority. Her staff are supportive and attentive and she was always available."

"Dr is very nice but never on time had a 1015 appt time walked out at 1130. Time to make next appt 15 minutes. Had to go to chemo room because I don't know . Girl made appts without asking what day or what day while talking with someone in her family. Makes you want to find another dr."

"Dr Balaraman is a highly competent and caring oncologist. Whomever is in her office is her focus and priority. She spends whatever time is required caring for the individual patient. She has a wide network of colleagues that she refers to as needed. We have been under her care fire sux years at this point."

"I think Dr. Balaraman is excellent in her field. However, I'm not sure it's worth the wait time to be seen by her. First visit (including a blood draw), at the Farmington office, took almost a full three hours (plus fifteen extra minutes since we came early to fill out new patient papperwork). Second visit, at the Royal Oak office, after a blood draw and sitting in the waiting room, finally got moved to a room after almost 1 1/2 hours. Been sitting here for over 50 minutes waiting to be seen by Dr. Balaraman (a nurse practitioner did stop in for 10 minutes). Even a blood draw (Farmington office) takes forever to do the draw and get thg he results. First time-about 1 1/2 hours. Second time-1 hour and 15 minutes. Sorry to say it but if my mom wasn't already attached to Dr. Balaraman, I'd be looking for a new doctor!"
