"I visited the First Choice location today along with my husband. The front desk personnel can make or break your overall experience. The first thing that happened, I was told I owed a co-payment from a previous visit. Another staff person reviewed the screen and let the medical assistant know I didn’t owe a copayment. I remained at the desk until I inquired if the medical assistant was finished and she stated yes. The second no-no, don’t assume that I want to be seen with my husband. We are two individual people and I know we don’t get a discount for treating us together. We let the PA doctor, S. Fredrickson know and our request was granted to be seen separate. The attending doctor assistant was excellent but the front desk staff needs assistance with her customer service skills."
