"If I can rate this as 0 I would do. I am extremely disappointed with Whisker, I placed an order with the expectation of receiving it within 7-10 days, but it's been nearly a month and my order still hasn't arrived. Their excuse? Blaming the shipping company for their own incompetence. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I will never be ordering from them again, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of their unreliable company."
"We have 2 litter robot 3s, and now 2 litter robot 4s. They are really great to have. They do require some care, and "doing litter" doesn't completely go away, but thats to be expected. The reason I'm writing this review though, is to commend Whisker for all the improvements they've made, most impressive of which is the new DFI circuit. With so many cats and multiple litter robots, things fail over time (since 2018). Support has been great, helping identify the fix needed, the part to order, and clear instructions that anyone with just a bit of mechanical aptitude can very readily do. The most common part to fail is the drawer full indicator circuit (DFI) on the version 3s. The litter dust is bound to get on it, and, while cleaning the plastic cover over it sometimes works, eventually the circuit board just needs to be replaced. Very achievable and to be expected, but... I just replaced one, they have upgraded the design, and its impressive. The circuit board is smaller, and completely encased in some kind of plastic. That means it is less likely to ever be damaged, and more likely to be cleaned without damaging it. This may be the last time I ever need to replace this part! Great job Whiskers! Many thanks!!"
"Very happy with my new litter robot 4. Did my research, read online reviews, and watched a gazillion youtube videos. I see some reviewers complain about support, while I have not had to deal with them, but most reviewers said that their customer support it light years ahead of its competitors. I got the extended warranty just in case as well. Finally happy to support a Michigan based company as well."
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! I purchased a $700 litter box from them, waited 2 months to receive it and it worked for less than a week! It arrived as cheap materials that didn’t click into place properly (pictures attached) then after a few days stopped cycling entirely. The reason I purchased from this company is because they had a 90 day money back guarantee, they had a chat and phone service you could contact if you needed assistance and it had a 1 year warranty. Turns out none of the is true! The 90 day money back guarantee charges you $60-$75 to return it. The chat system is disabled and the phones are turned of due to “high call volume” which makes zero sense! People are probably calling to complain that your selling things that don’t work for jacked up prices! If I had known I was taking a $75 risk to test their busted product for a week I never would have considered purchasing! This has been an extremely stressful situation as I purchased this litter box to self clean while I go away for work to avoid hiring a pet sitter but clearly now I will be paying for both. No one has ever contacted me about the many service requests I’ve submitted and now I have to wait for them to approve my return. RIDICULOUS!"
"Terrible customer service. After 18 months my litter robot died after a normal cleaning. The troubleshooting for the lights does not work and now I have a useless brick. Phone lines are down and multiple ticket requests are ignored. I loved this product and recommended to multiple friends who purchased on my recommendation. Now I feel as if I have been duped and cheated. A robot this expensive should not breakdown after a year and a half. You should be ashamed of the service you are providing, or should I say absence of service"
