"Whether you're a local or in town visiting, I'd highly recommend you stop at Fat Cap if you're in the mood for barbecue. (Even if you're not in the mood, the smell as you walk in the door might change your mind.) Simple menu, delicious food, and friendly staff. Check 'em out. Update: Back in town and had to stop by again. It was even better this time. The sliced brisket, pork belly, and rib tips were mouthwatering."
"Everything you want in BBQ. Great selection of sauces and the Brisket is beautiful. The Cole slaw was delicious, but the baked beans were outstanding."
"I got a really good deal, so I’m not upset at all but the food was somewhat disappointing. The texture was actually really good! The chicken was tender, the sausage was fine, and the brisket was average. The flavor however… not great. The chicken and the sausage were super Smokey and it tasted like smoke flavoring not real smoke (not saying it is, just saying it tasted like it). The brisket sandwich was covered in a few odd sauces. It also had peppers on it (which I liked). But there was just too much going on. Anyway, if they just figured out their their flavors they would be above average! Unfortunately the seasoning and sauces were quite poor. Side note: the dirt cake was incredibly simple but very good."
"The chicken was tender and juicy, brisket melted in your mouth, and the pulled pork had a sweet and spicy kick. Best cornbread I’ve ever had in Indiana. The staff is super nice. Solomon cuts the meat you’re about to eat and is personable, polite, and kind. If you get the chance please come have lunch or supper, you won’t be dissatisfied!"
"Visited Notredame couple of years back and stopped in this place for dinner. This time while visiting, I had to go back again. They are a local BBQ place and the best in this area. I tried their pulled pork sandwiches and rib tips this time and it was as yummy as I expected. The server asked me "how is it" and I gave him two thumbs up!! I would give 10 if I had 10! Ha..ha.. I love their BBQ sauce, portion size and price! My favorite sauce is South Carolina and Kansas City. The servers are very friendly and welcoming! Worth to visit this place if you are around this area."
