"I could not recommend Ottawa Animal Hospital enough - both locations! I switched from my past vet and will never go anywhere else. The staff has been amazing at communicating with me compassionately when I have been under duress for an illness with my dog. Chloe talked to me on the phone and helped ease my mind when on the verge of tears and Gladys was also so kind on the phone. Doctor Wendy Swift has been amazing with my dog after he contracted two tick-born illnesses and helped me come up with a meal plan and supplements that will help strengthen his immune system as well as just give me supportive words. Doctor Turner personally called me when I sent my other dogs embark health results in just to discuss them with me in depth and offer any advice. I have never had a bad experience with this staff and would recommend everyone take their babies here. It feels like they understand that my dogs are my entire life line and I so needed that. Thank you Ottawa Animal Hospital!"

"Animal Hospital East is an excellent place to take your fur babies. My kitten was sick after having shots there, I called them after hours and the doctor said to give her Benadryl and to bring her in if she wasn’t better by morning. Thank goodness she was so I didn’t have to. The Dr had the nurse call me later that morning to ask me how she was. A regular Dr won’t take the time to inquire about my health but they cared enough to call me when they didn’t hear from me. This is the 3rd cat they’ve taken care of and I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else treating my baby."

"I can't say enough about how truly wonderful this vet clinic is. We've had a rough year of illnesses with our pets and Dr. Patterson has been a blessing! It's tough to find vets who will see/treat exotics, but she was more than willing to squeeze us into her schedule for a few emergency appointments for our parrot. Not only did she help troubleshoot, test, and spend an immense amount of time talking through the situation with us, she called multiple times to follow up and see how we/our parrot was doing. Prices for testing/treatment were also very reasonable. I've been to many, many vets over the years and I've not met a practice who is so willing to go above and beyond for their clients and patients. Many kudos to Dr. Patterson and the entire team at this clinic. We live 30 minutes away and will happily make the drive to see them because of their superb service."

"I can not say enough good things about this location or Dr. Diane Bergstrom after my first visit today. Working in the pet industry can be very difficult, especially in veterinary medicine, and it’s not abnormal to be pushed through quickly, your concerns written off and to see a lot of burnout…but the compassion, friendliness, and respect I was shown today made me want to cry tears of joy (on top of finally being validated and seeing positive improvements in my pet’s medical condition). Dr. Bergstrom listened to what I had to say without judgment or ego and gave me peace of mind. The techs and the office staff were all very friendly and attentive. Thank you so much!"

"Our Golden Retriever Guinness recently passed away. My wife and I are so very appreciative of the care they provided Guinness over his 11 years and especially during the last couple of months of his life. We are also appreciative of the emotional support they gave to us. The doctor and vet assistant cried along with my wife and I when Guinness finally passed. We have received flowers and a card from OAH, and recently were notified that OAH had made a donation to Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in memory of Guinness. Finally, we would like to give special recognition and thanks to Drs. Bergstrom and Patterson for the loving care they gave to our "Gentle Little Giant". We feel they have become part of our family.
