"Literally the worst management and maintenance service ever. The rooms themselves are alright but if something breaks it takes ages to get them to fix it. Our shower was broken for a month before they finally fixed it and our air conditioning has been broken for about 2 months and every time we asked them to fix it, they told us it was our fault and we were “too irresponsible to control it” so they entirely shut it off. They have yelled at us multiple times when we ask them to fix stuff, and they told us we weren’t allowed to call them anymore or they’d charge us extra. We’re all overheating and getting heat exhaustion and had to buy extra fans that barely help. They still haven’t fixed it and we’re furious, you can live here I guess, it’s better than other on campus options, but just know management is the actual worst."
"Since moving here I have had my car broken into 2 times within a month despite not having any valuables visible and security is almost non-existent. The building management and maintenance was great for about 2 weeks and has gone downhill quickly. Getting ahold of the office is a gamble and maintenance requests often go untouched for months unless they’re small. If they are small it’s often a quick bandaid fix. There is also the issue of mail theft in the supposed camera monitored mail room. Communication from the office is inconsistent and I have had to physically speak to someone in order to get somewhere. That is, if someone is in the office. Our RAs are more reliable. I also find it interesting that some of the 5 star reviews are not even done by residents but poor reviews receive an email to verify residency. After living here we have had homeless people in the elevators, urine in the garage trash cans, a masked intruder going door to door to get into rooms, and all around a general feeling of unease. TL;DR Look elsewhere, this place isn’t safe nor reliable."
"So I have lived here for about a month now and for the most part it is really a great place. But the internet speeds are atrocious. Usquare claims to have high speed internet but to have high speed internet you must have a minimum of 25mbps. That is the maximum most of the time. I have clocked the download speeds at under an mbps before. All of my classes are online right now and so I need a decent connection but I have had to go to friends places because my internet was so poor it couldnt load a zoom call. Also if I am in a zoom call I can not do anything else or I will lose connection. This is an awful problem and desperately needs to be fixed. I have attached an image to show some of the speeds I have gotten since I moved in on 8/18/20."
"Maintenance never came even when multiple requests were filed, the key pad stopped working several times so I was locked out of the apartment building multiple times late at night. Management was extremely difficult to deal with and charged late fees when they were on vacation the week rent was due so they didn’t receive rent on time (because they weren’t present to check their mail box). Absolutely terrible. Would never recommend to anyone. Everyone that I have talked to has had the same experience. The apartment complex constantly smelled like pot and nicotine-they didn’t inforce their no smoking policy."
"I wrongfully incurred a fee from the parking garage. I arrived on 11/10/17 around 5:40pm to pick someone up (I drove up to her because she had a number of items and I didn't want her to have to carry them far) and left around 5:45pm. However, when I went to leave I was charged $20 (a "special event" price) instead of the $0 for an under 30 minute visit which is clearly outlined at the entrance and online. That being said, the "special event" sign did not expel the fact that 30 minutes or less was free, and as I did not park there (as it was stated that the special event was for "parking") the fee should not have applied. The ticket says that I arrived at 17:41 on 11/10/17 and left at 06:10 on 11/11/17, but that was not the case. I spoke to the assistant at the exit and he was unsympathetic and rude saying, "if you're in the garage, you're paying." After a couple minutes of back-and-forth with the assistant, I paid the fee and left, as there was a line forming and I was trying not to cause an issue. I was hopeful that this could be resolved more cordially through other means (an email or a phone call) at a later time. Neither of which have been answered. I photographed the receipt overlaying my friend's phone showing the discrepancy in the actual time and the time displayed on the ticket. I plan on taking a different course of action soon, until that time, I figured I'd make my horrible experience known to the public."
